Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo is yet again seeking to claim back his seat in the August general election.
Speaking on Tuesday while chairing a consultative meeting with aspirants contesting with his Tujibebe Wakenya Party,Kabogo sighted his interest to once again lead Kiambu residents.
Kabogo was the first governor of Kiambu in 2013 before losing the seat to Ferdinand Waititu in 2017.
However, Waititu was later impeached over graft allegations, leaving the position to his deputy James Nyoro who is the current governor.
He further stated that the party will hold its National Delegates Convention(NDC) this month.
Kabogo will now battle for the position with the incumbent governor ,Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi, County Assembly Speaker Stephen Ndichu, Thika MP Jungle Wainaina, as well as former governor Ferdinand Waititu.
